Prof. (Mrs) Folasade Adesola Alade is a professional Counsellor who specializes in Family, Sex and Marital Counselling. She holds a Bachelor degree in Guidance and counselling, University of Ilorin, Master degree and Doctor of Philosophy in (Guidance and Counselling) Ondo State University (Now EKSU) in 2004 and 2010 respectively. She joined the service of the University on May, 9 2001 as a Graduate Assistance and rise to the position of a Professor on 1^st of October, 2019.

She has rendered numerous services both within and outside the University, including member, welfare committee, Teaching Practice Committee, ICT Committee, Linkages Committee Postgraduate Committee and Business Committee, Faculty of Education; Chairman, Social and Events Committee in Guidance and Counselling Department, Counsellor and Deputy Director respectively at the Centre for Counselling and Human Development. HOD, Guidance and Counselling Department.

She is a seasoned scholar with a strong record of academic engagement, having attended numerous conferences, seminars and training programmes globally. Her research output includes publications in reputable National and International Journals. She is a member of some Academic and Professional bodies which include Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), National Association of Educational Research and Evaluators (NAERE) and Resing Association of Nigeria (RAND).
